Appropriate opportunities will be providing for paralympic players for competition

Professor Hamidullah Farooqi the Acting Minister for Ministry of Martyrs and Disabled Affairs visited with chief and members of Paralympic Committee.

Mr. Abdulhussain Hassari the chief of Paralympic Committee delivered information on committee programs, and he stated that this committee has 2130 athletes with disabilities in 12 provinces, who are participating in interior and exterior competition. In addition, he said that lack of sport equipment in central gymnasium, lack of green and suitable area for sport, and limit budgets are the main challenges of athletes. So, he requested an advisory group between ministry and Paralympic committee officials.

Professor Hamidullah Farooqi deeply appreciated and praised on achievements of disabled athletes of paralympic committee and stated them as people with unique capacities. Moreover, in case of budget will talk with Ministry of Finance, and in case of providing green spaces and more needs of disabled athlete will coordinate international institutions in order to have a joint and continues cooperation to encourage athletes. Also, Mr. Farooqi instructed for provincial directors of Ministry of Martyrs and Disabled Affairs to fully collaborate with disabled athletes of Paralympic committee.
