Fighting against corruption requires joint and coordinated effort
On Saturday April 4, 2021 Hamidullah Farooqi the Acting Minister for Ministry of Martyrs and Disabled Affairs visited with representatives of people with disabilities and listened to their opinions, demands and problems.
Mr. Farooqi influenced on joint efforts and coordination that are needed to bring reform and fight against corruption. He wanted from all institutions, the heirs of martyrs and people with disabilities to work with ministry to eliminate, reduce and punish the cause of corruption.
The Acting Ministry for Ministry of Martyrs and Disabled Affairs stated that the duty of Ministry is not only to pay salaries and benefits, but also to provide basic services to heirs of martyrs and people with disabities. He included that by completing the process of verifying and reviewing documents, distributing electronic Identity Card and registering all heirs of martyrs and people with disabilities in electronic system. The process of distributing salaries will be done easily and transparently and the ministry will have more opportunities in order to provide fundamental services.
Moreover, Mr. Farooqi also informed about fair distribution of booths in the near future for people of Kabul with disabilities. He stated that we have talked and coordinated with Kabul Municipality about the distribution of booths and Kabul Municipality has promised to finalize the distribution procedure and then will accomplish the issue after legal procedures completion.
Haji Mohammad Hassan Safi talked on behalf of participants about their demands and problems with ministry.
