The Acting Minister for Ministry of Martyrs and Disabled Affairs visited from the sit tent of people with disabilities
On Thursday April 1, 2021 Hamidullah Farooqi the Acting Minister for Ministry of Martyrs and Disabled Affairs and his accompanying delegation visited the sit tent of people with disabilities in Daralaman, and listened to their demands, problems and opinions.
First of all, Malik Mohammad Malikzadah the chairman, Aziz Rasikh, Seyeed Vahdat Mossavi, Bashir Dirah and other members spoke on behalf of the sit keepers, which they wanted to attention for their problems and demands. They shared their problems in case of hiring, shelter and apartments, higher education, need for national federation, distribution of booths in urban areas, reability, fight against corruption, the problems of new people who registrated and the provision of transparency.
Professor Farooqi gratituded the efforts and peaceful litigation of people with disabilities. He stated that civil litigation and peaceful assembly are your right. As a result, these efforts will aware the authorities responsibles and difinetely cause them to work harder in order to improve your living situation.
Mr. Farooqi stated that he visits with various associations and representatives of heirs of martyrs and people with disabilities , and he is aware of everyone's problems and challenges, and due to this, he influenced on cooperation and coordination to solve their problems. He promised that he would eliminate the distance between ministry and heirs of martyrs and people with disabilities. So, the heirs of martyrs and people with disabilities could easily access to documents and staff of ministry.
Professor Farooqi emphasized that the sacrifices of people with disabilities are respectable in nation of Afghanistan. This people has proudly have been standing against injustice, colonialism and violition. That is why all of us, especially the Ministry, have responsibility toward you.
Mr. Farooqi mentioned the serious fight against corruption and ensuring transparency and stated that corruption must be eradicated. The true documents have to clear from fake documents and give the right to the owners, which the consistent and coordinated efforts of the ministry is in progress.
The Acting Minister for Ministry of Martyrs and Disabled Affairs claimed that the meeting of heirs of martyrs and people with disabilities with President three weeks ago was productive and achievable and stated the special cabinet session in order to solve the problems of this group in coming days.
Consequently, Mr. Farooqi asked all sit takers to end their sit due to security problems and unsuitable conditions. So, their problems and requests will be taken and accomplished. He also wanted from everyone to follow their problems from ministry, and all facilities have been provided in this regard.
