The Acting Minister for Ministry of Martyrs and Disabled meets with representatives of people with disabilities of Takhar and Kunduz provinces
Today on March 9, Hamidullah Farooqi the Acting Minister for Ministry of Martyrs and Disabled Affairs visits with representatives of people with disabilities in Takhar and Kunduz provinces to discuss about problems and challenges of people with disabilities.
Firstly, the representatives of people with disabilities of these provinces congratulate Mr. Farooqi on his new responsibility and wish him more success in his work.
The participants in meeting share the problems such as not paying salaries, shelters, education, job opportunities, banking, electrical system, distribution of electronic Identity cards and making of federation for people with disabilities and want to solve these problems.
Hamidullah Farooqi the Acting Minister for Ministry of Martyrs and Disabled Affairs thanked them for their coming and deeply appreciates them for their sacrifices in defense of country, national values and honor. He states that four decades of wars in country have left nothing, but destruction and killing to Afghans and as a result of these sinister wars the number of martyrs and people with disabilities are still increasing day by day. Mr. Farooqi emphasize on cooperation and coordination of people with disabilities with this ministry and mention the importance of establishing the National Federation In order to have a powerful address for them, and the voices of justice become more effective.
Professor Farooqi points out that the Ministry of Martyrs and Disabled Affairs is committed to using the facilities and great resources to solve problems of heirs of martyrs and people with disabilities. Providing them with necessary facilities in all aspects of life.
He notes that in coordination with Kabul Municipality, booths will be distributed in capital and provinces in order to provide jobs for people with disabilities. So, efforts are continue to implement the agreement with other departments of government.
