The Ministry of Martyrs and Disabled Affairs presentes its report on the functions and achievements of 1399 to the nation

Today February 20, Hamidullah Farooqi the Acting Minister of Martyrs and Disabled Affairs presentes a supplementary report on the functions and achievements of the ministry in 1399 during a press conference at the Government Media Center.
 Sabri Andar the Deputy Minister of Programs and Coordination and Jamileh Nourestani the Deputy Minister of Support and Services also participated in the government's accountability program to the nation.
At the beginning, Professor Farooqi describ  the presentation of his reports by the government to the nation as the fundamental principle of good and transparent governance. In addition, he says supporting such programs, emphasized the relationship between the government and the nation. He states that my role in forming the government is obvious to everyone, and in this office the reforms and a serious fight against corruption are our priorities."
Mr. Farooqi describes decades of war as the main reason for the increase in the number of martyrs and disability and appreciates their sacrifices in order to defend, preserve the honor and dignity of the country.He claims that We are ready to serve the heirs of martyrs and people with disabilities and provide any facilities and opportunities with all values. Mr. Farooqi adds that the government leadership is committed to all kinds of basic spiritual and valuable responsibilities in order to provide services to the mentioned group and praises their victims.
Mr. Farooqi thanks the heirs of the martyrs and people with disabilities for their patience and tolerance and states that from one side we are facing a lack of resources and facilities, and on the other hand, the statistics of the martyrs and the disabled are increasing day by day.  Therefore, in order to prevent this crisis, it is necessary to work in the mentioned sections.
Professor Farooqi expressing gratitude to the President, Deputies and members of both National Assembly and he says in order to better and more care for the heirs of the martyrs and people with disabilities, they upgraded this office and turned it into an independent budget office."
 Mr. Farooqi points out that this Ministry has performed its functions for the financial year of 1399 on the basis of laws, strategic goals, vision and global conventions and with the consideration of principles and values which the results are tangible.  He adds that in addition to arranging the formation of an office in the financial year of 1399 and obtaining its approval from the presidency, the draft of the national disability strategy has been prepared in cooperation with national and international partners, in terms of paying salaries and providing services for people with disabilities. 13,7billion ordinary budgets and 2.47 million development budgets have been spent which has revealed effects in the field.  In addition to all this, the Call Center and One Stop Shop services have been activated which has made the work process as a simple and easy system service.
Professor Farooqi states that the process of reviewing and verifying the documents of martyrs and people with disabilities in 34 provinces is one of the main achievements of the ministry. Up to now a lot of documents reviewed which 32533 documents have been rejected and it cause to prevent from extra government budget.  He added that according to the pre-determined plan, the process of reviewing the documents will be completed by 1400. Mr. Farooqi with the aim of registering and preserving the documents of martyrs and people with disabilities creating a standard archive and implementing the new electrical system project considers the valuable activities and works of this ministry in 1399.
In the financial year of 1399, the Ministry of Martyrs and Disabled Affairs has made significant achievements in the field of policy and legislation, including the amendment of the law on the rights and privileges of people with disabilities, the development of a gender policy, and the preparation of a strategy.  National Disability, formulated a review of the Ministry's internal policy and the establishment of regulations and perspectives on relevant administrative matters.
Mr. Farooqi speech extensively about the work done in the fight against corruption, the value of implemented projects, the problems, plans and future goals of the Ministry and promised to improve affairs and strengthen the achievement.
