The National Women's Day was celebrated

The National Women's Day was celebrated
On Sunday March 14 the Ministry of Martyrs and Disabled with cooperation of coalition for elimination of violence against women celebrated the National Women's Day at the Kabul Star Hotel.
The speakers of this ceremony spoked about challenges, problems and opportunities facing Afghan women and influenced that Afghan women must work hard to take their rights and human values.
Miss Safia Seddiqi the Gender Advisor of the Ministry of Martyrs and Disabled Affairs first of all congratulating on the occasion of Women's Solidarity Day and thanked the presence of women from various institutions and organizations. She said that Afghan women have always been proud and not given up in to restrictions. Although now, women have to fight for their rights and experience of successful women and contribute to the development of country.
Miss Seddiqi included that the ministry's plans for women, specifically for women with disabilities and assured the ministry of her commitment to provide standard services.
Miss Simasmar the former head of the Independent Human Rights Commission spoke and said that celebrating from March 8 means reminding women's problems and challenges. She impacted on needing for joint efforts and fighting to solve women's problems.
Miss Benafsha Yaqubi the Commissioner of the Independent Human Rights Commission also spoke and influenced on fair participation of women in all governmental and non governmental institutions.
The program included theater group depicted the living conditions of women and stated their sacrifices and challenges.
At the end of program, professionals and successful people with disabilities shared their life experiences with participants and really emphasized on joint coordination between women.
